Yummy!!! We love salty dogs...

Can't believe my big girl is 7....

Happy Birthday M!!!

We have been busy busy busy!! With swim team, soccer camp, VBS, play dates, you name it- it has been a busy Summer. I wouldn't have it any other way (well maybe a nanny would be nice to stay home so little girl gets all her naps in but who am I kidding???) We do pretty good- well we do the best we can! M is loving swim team, S is loving her swim lessons and drawing, and baby girl is just loving life. We are truly blessed and I don't take it for granted one single bit. Thanks Lord. Oh and since M turns 7 I wanted to document, so far, the things I love most about my biggest girl...
- her heart
- her laugh
- she is such a good big sister- always helping me take care of the little girl
- love how she and S love eachother so much and how either of them don't like to sleep in their room when the other one is not there
- love how she loves to make new friends
- loves her zest
- loves that she loves school
- loves her loyalty to her friends
- loves how she pointed out that she had a picture of me and her but not her and her daddy beside her bed so we went and got one done... she loves her daddy!!
- loves how she will try new foods and most of the time... she likes them!
- I love how she is teaching me about patience (and how I don't have a lot of it but am learning!)
- love how comfortable she is in her own skin
- love how she doesn't take herself too seriously... this will serve her later in life too...
Thanks Jesus for the gift of my sweet M. Help me to the momma she needs me to be.

Young Life Family Camp 2010....

Do you know what Young Life is?? Well it is one of the most amazing ministries. I was blessed to be involved as a volunteer leader after college at Lovett. I led a bible study with 10 amazing girls and I still am in touch with them- they are now getting married and having babies which makes me feel INCREDIBLY old but I digress.... I have known these girls and have prayed for them over half their lives. Well now I have a family of my own and I get to take my family to Family Camp located at Sharptop Cove up in Ellijay, GA. It is awesome. T and I both feel like God wants us to be involved in this ministry someway somehow but we are letting the good Lord lead us in that direction. S, my middle girl, decided to sing "amazing grace" in the little talent show on Saturday night of camp (my big girl M sang it about 4 years ago so it must be an Austin girl tradition). Anyway, it was awesome. Also M decided to jump rope to one of her favorite songs by Taylor Swift. They both did the zip line, quantum swing and the giant slide- it was awesome. This is, by far, one of my favorite weekends of the year. Normally we go with our best friends, the Lott's, but they weren't able to go this year. We were all sad about that but we just felt like God was still calling us to go and I am so glad we did. God met us there and really showed us some great stuff ....He is so faithful. Enjoy the couple of videos and pictures... Let me know if you have any questions about YL or family camp or both.... sorry S's video is on twice... messed that up and can't figure out how to fix it....

Ok this one I just had to include because well, it's just cute. This was little girl after church one day. What a sweetie pie she is!!! Now she is 8 months old.... unreal....starting to want to crawl....she is growing too fast!

Haven't posted in a while so here are just a few snapshots of what we've been doing.....:0)...

Poppy and D....she is doing so many new things but one of her favorites is grabbing your face and "kissing" you.....such a sweet baby girl!
M on our little hike. The girls really enjoy hiking as do we so I see lots of hikes in our future:0)....it is so fun to get out there and explore!
S the little cowgirl. So I found this AWESOME cowgirl outfit for $10....such a deal!!! S just so happened to have country and western day at school so it was the perfect opportunity to wear it.... might be the Halloween outfit too.....just too cute!
Little girls baptism....
M and S and paca and daddy before the father/daughter dance....what fun! Everyone got so "fancy".....it was such a neat night.
Guess who is 6 months???!!!!
After 8 inches....
bye bye curly red locks....we had enough for Pantene Beautiful lengths so that was great. We were going to cut it regardless bc it had just gotten too long and it hurt her to brush it. She is loving her new short do! Very stylish....

Happy New Year! Hello 2010....

SNOW DAY!!! We don't get these much around these parts so these were some fired up little ladies!
Ringing in the New Year with our friends the M's, C's and lots of others! So fun!

Me and my sweet friend!

We decided to do a combo/Happy Birthday Daddy party at the New Year party so we all sang to him! He was leaving for Cabo for work in the days following New Years so we thought this kind of send out would be perfect!

Our little fam! D looks like she is just a little head on here in her little pouch. Happy New Year everyone! Love, The A's!

Santa came!

My sweet baby!
Daddy and M (and Julie!!!) went to the Falcons game and had a ball. Me and S and the baby just hung out.

Here is a picture of the guys during our "C-A-S" Christmas day Family Feud game. Of course, the girls won! It was so fun! The kids and Gigi work so hard on their little "play" for each Christmas day. This year it was family feud with cute little "commercials" that the kids performed. So cute!

Gigi, Poppy and all the kiddo's

S got her first real American Girl Doll!!! It is one that looks like her- curly red hair and blue eyes- she was soooooooo excited!

Baby girl got an activity center from good old Santa Claus- she was thrilled!

Poor S was VERY sick Christmas morning but I did manage to get a small smile out of her. Poor baby!

M was all smiles Christmas morning. What a good guy that Santa is!

Daddy reading Twas the Night before Christmas. This is an A Family Tradition! Love it!
