Visits with Santa....

Us girls in NYC... we shopped till we dropped! Thanks Gigi!Marisa Tomei being interviewed by Regis and Kelly- so cool!
The girls in front of our tree at home!

M and S with the sweet Santa at our church. This is the one the girls see every year. He is so sweet and takes so much time with each child. This is the first year we've been tear- free from seeing Santa. Every year at least one of the little girls cries but this year- they did great!

This is Santa at M's school where they had a holiday elves craft shop. So fun! The girls made lots of little gifts for everyone.

We have seen that silly Santa two days in a row! He came to M's school on Friday for a Holiday Elves craft workshop and then he was at our church's Breakfast with Santa. M and S told him all the stuff on their lists (and some surprises that Mom and Dad had never heard...hmmmmm). This time of year is so fun but the kids get so tired with all the action around. I have actually reinstated S's nap again because she is just exhausted. We're so thankful for all of our blessings and we're reminded of the reason for all the joy at this Christmas season! Happy Birthday Jesus! Also Me, mom, sis and sis in law had an awesome time on our trip to NYC!! We saw so much and did a TON of shopping! We also saw Katie Holmes in her broadway show "All my Sons" and we were on the Regis and Kelly show where we saw Marisa Tomei and Jessie McArtney. Thanks Gigi for a wonderful trip - we're so blessed!

Thanksgiving Feast at S Preschool

We had S feast today at school and it was, of course, absolutely adorable! This is, by far, one of my favorite things that our church's preschool does. Some of the kids are indians and some are pilgrims and it is just priceless. And the songs- So stinkin' cute. The video at the bottom is of S singing one of her all time favorites- needless to say we heard this song A LOT over the last couple of weeks as they were practicing. So funny!

Happy Halloween!

What fun Halloween was! The girls had a ball picking out who they wanted to be- M really thought hard about either Gabriella or Sharpay from High School Musical but decided on Sharpay because, quite frankly, momma didn't want to buy a wig TOO as Gabriella has dark hair and Sharpay is a blonde- so there! S's decision was super easy- she was going to be Abby Cadabby from Sesame Street but they were out so she said- how 'bout that one mom and pointed to Raggedy Ann so that was it. It was a great Halloween! The tradion is to head over to my sisters neighborhood because they have the best neighborhood with tons of houses. It was fun this time because Halloween fell on a friday so we didn't have to worry about getting the kids home to bed because it was the weekend. T always takes the girls around to each house while I stay back with my sister and hand out candy. It is always so fun to see all the little ones in their costumes. My favorite pic is of T in S's Raggedy Ann hair- what a goofball he is! Enjoy.....

D W Elementary Fall Festival

We just love M's school. It is just a sweet place and the folks their love my girl. Her teacher is awesome and the principal just rocks- everyone is so personable and because it is so small, you feel like everyone is looking out for your child and, for that, as a momma, I could not be more pleased. Here are some pics from the Fall Festival.

The A Back Yard Carnival

Well it is not officially a carnival but we made it one anyway. After church, we went and picked out two of the most awesome pumpkins on the planet. Then when we got home, we decided we would carve one and paint one (we also decided that that was going to be our new tradition every year). We love creating new traditions!! So anyways, M decided she needed to get a bowl of water for us to wash the paint off our hands. Before the paint was even opened- I noticed M over there putting her face in the water. Well I had this brilliant idea to go get some apples and let them bob for apples!! Who doesn't love to do that? Well- they had a ball. It was one of those awesome days that we really didn't plan- those are the best kind!! Thanks Lord for the awesome weather and for my awesome girls. I am so blessed. Oh and daddy went and played golf at the newly designed course at Pinetree cc. He has been working SO hard and we were glad he got the chance to go over there. What a good daddy we have.

Bunk Beds!!

So M and S loved to sleep in the same room so we decided to get them bunk beds. We thought about it for a while and then we just did it. They love being together and I am so thankful that they love eachother. My prayer for both of them is that they will always take good care of eachother and be close always!

First Day of Kindegarden for M!!!!

So the time came- here it is! My little girl is now, officially, a Kindegardener. She had an awesome day thank the good Lord. She really wanted to ride the bus but mamma wanted to take her baby that first day but I promised she could ride the 2nd day and every day after! We walked her to school because we live so close and it was so fun. S totally thought she was going to kindegarden too. Here are some pics of the big day...
